  • One action promotes every toggle of the chosen applications to a higher environment — switch, release link, attributes and status, as they are in the source.
  • What's tested is what goes up: a toggle on in Test is on in the next environment the moment you promote.
  • The preview shows each change, and what your testers changed in the target since the last promotion — who, what, when. Untick any toggle to leave it as it is.
  • Promotion only goes up, never sideways or down. Permissions can say which environments each team may promote into.
  • Release toggles: into a non-production environment the source's on/off travels with the release. Production keeps its own — a new release arrives there off, and switching it on is a decision made in production.
  • Toggles the target has and the source doesn't — another project's, when several feed one shared environment — are left alone and listed.
  • Promotion never removes a toggle. Removing is its own step, once the code no longer needs it (a toggle's life).
  • Testers' edits can be undone: Restore puts a toggle back the way it was last promoted.
